SMD Technologies is a distributor of technology around Southern Africa. They are the sole agent of Kingsons laptop bags, HP Calculators, Amplify electronic products, PNY and HP flash drives, Volkano consumer electronics, and many other brands. Their China-based sister company, China Agent sources a wide variety of products with a strong focus on technology.

By focusing on quality, they have built up a reputation amongst many retailers in South Africa for being able to source high-quality products for the lowest possible price. I was tasked with the design of the new CMS based website for the SMD brand. They wanted a website that demonstrates their various brands and emphasises the history and solid foundation of the company. As part of the project I demonstrated how the logo could be updated and refined in order to give a new fresh appeal to the overall brand language.
