Design development and creation of a logo and refreshed brand identity for Royal Thonga Safari Lodge, a lodge within a sand forest in Tembe Elephant Park that offers guests total privacy and luxurious comfort. The logo and brand identity needed to be uniquely African, clean, sophisticated, minimalist and contemporary. Tembe Elephant Park has the biggest elephant tuskers in South Africa with over 350 wild elephants, it’s the pride and joy of the lodge and the main selling point. Client requested the elephant logo remain if possible, but could be thoroughly modernised and updated. I love my ‘Thonga Tusker’.

This logo was my preferred option – combination of elephant, logotype and colours –  the final one selected by client differs slightly.
